TASTING NOTE
The vineyards of Pernand-Vergelesses are in a very hilly area, stretching over the slopes between Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-lès-Beaune. Cold maceration. Natural yeast fermentation and vatting for three weeks. Aged in eight barrels of which 25% are new during 16 month.
Beautiful garnet colour. Aromatic, with sophisticated notes of spice. Some extracts of red fruit such as blackcurrant or cherry on floral notes of violet. On the palate, the attack is fresh and mineral with aromas of a well-balanced fruit. The wine is vibrant.
